The sewn collages and assemblages in the Feelings series set seemingly insignificant objects, such as real utensils and fragments of fabric, in a new context of meaning. The objects used tell individual tales and life stories and arouse associations.

The compositions are not an image, but rather evidence of a scene. They show contrasts between harmony and selective melancholy or vulnerability - the whole range of ambivalence in life. The personal interdependence with universal questions appears again and again. There is an interplay between fact and fiction.
